Assignment #2 - One Square Mile

You will have chosen an area in Utah County that equals one square mile (one mile on all four sides). For the sake of ease, on a 1:10,000 map, the radius of a dime is approximately one square mile.

Within that square mile you will use your Ninja-like skills to find and flush out a compelling story that you will photograph for the next two weeks.

Please don't go for the obvious story. Look for something that is a little more challenging, and one that you will need two weeks to fully explore.

On Thursday, September 22nd you should have an initial shoot or two done and I want you to bring those images to class and we will discuss them.

You should have a final edit of 15 photographs by the following Thursday, September 29th.
